Testimonials
From game companies who have handled the production sample.
OMG, we love the Mimic Dice Box!! We at ONIRO have had the privilege of seeing a lot of games and accessories over multiple years of shoots working with hundreds of publishers and game accessory makers, so we're not easily surprised or impressed anymore.
However, CritStones and GlassStaff have managed to do just that! Their products are not only top tier quality, incredibly designed and super fun to play with, but we are seriously extremely impressed by their attention to detail and obvious care and love they put in everything they make!
Every single corner of this dice box has been meticulously crafted and super detailed, making it what has to be the coolest dice box we have seen! The tongue surprise alone is worth every penny! Insta-buy for any gamer or collection!
This box is insanely impressive! We had a great time flipping out the tongue continuously haha. It's so heavy and high quality. We have never seen anything like it before and we can't wait to get our own. We were really sad to have to send it back lol

Questionsanswered
New here? What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is where the Mimic Dice Box launches, on Saturday 21 November. When the campaign goes live you pledge there, we make the production run, and it ships to you. Reserving here for €1 simply holds your reserver price and your free Chompie for that day.
When and to whom do I pay the €85?
On Kickstarter, during the campaign, not on this page. You pay €84 there, and your €1 today counts toward it, so €85 in total instead of the €95 public price. Nothing beyond the €1 is charged here.
Does the €1 commit me to anything?
No. There is no obligation to back. If you decide not to pledge you owe nothing, and your €1 is refundable either way.
How do I get my €1 back?
Email info@glassstaff.com with the word refund. It goes back to your original card or account within two working days, no reason needed, right up to launch day on 21 November.
Is the €1 refundable?
Yes. It is fully refundable and it counts toward your pledge.
How many dice fit?
Three to four full RPG dice sets.
How does the tongue work?
Hidden magnets flick it out and snap it into place. No springs to wear out.
How heavy and sturdy is it?
Heavy. The chest is cast in solid resin with a display piece finish, so it has real weight in the hand and sits planted on the table. It is built to be handled and opened every session, not kept behind glass.
Is it really made and painted by hand?
Yes. Every chest is cast in separate parts, down to the individually molded eyes, then assembled and painted by hand by our artisans. No two are identical, and that is the point.
When will I get mine?
We will confirm the estimated delivery window on the campaign page and keep reservers posted first.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Worldwide is what we do, and always has been. We ship from our own warehouses in the Netherlands and the US, whichever is closer to you. Shipping is charged separately by region after the campaign.
Will there be other tiers or editions?
Yes. More tiers and editions will be revealed as we get closer to launch, and reservers hear about every one of them first. Whatever tier you end up choosing, reservers always get the better deal on it.
What if I miss the launch window?
Late pledges open shortly after the campaign closes. The best price and the free Chompie plushie stay reserved for people who reserved before launch, though.
Is this the final design?
You are looking at our hand-painted production samples. Small refinements may still land before mass production, and reservers see every step first.
Down to the last tooth
Hand-painted resin, individually molded teeth and eyes, and a tongue that flicks out on a hidden magnet.
Built like treasure, not like a toy
A hidden magnet flicks the tongue out and snaps it shut. Nothing to wear out, nothing to break.
Cast in separate parts, down to the individually molded eyes, then assembled and painted by hand.
Heavy resin, about 14 x 9.5 x 9 cm. Fits 3 to 4 full dice sets behind the teeth.
It hoards your dice
Three to four full sets disappear behind the teeth: metal, resin, the lot. The mimic keeps them.
What buyers say about us
Not about the Mimic box yet, it launches in November. These are verified reviews of the dice and gear we already make, rated 4.95 out of 5 across 7,471 reviews.
These are by far the best metal dice I've owned. They feel powerful, look amazing, and instantly elevate the table aesthetic.
Super awesome stuff, vibrant colours, great quality. Everybody likes this!
Seller is a friendly, lovely human and I'm glad to give him my business. High quality, reasonable production and shipping times. Such a lovely niche store.
